The Fantasy World Map by Dan Meth

Artist Dan Meth has created The Fantasy World Map, which charts popular fantasy lands like Middle Earth and Narnia all in one spot.

The map is #12 in his A Series of Pop-Cultural Charts project.

Can you name where each land is from?

  2. Very interesting. I’d love to see the satellite image of this map.

If anyone has not seen it, there is a wonderful image from the 1930s titled “The Land of Make Believe” by Jaro Hess. It is quite a nice piece of art IMHO. Here I found a nice high resolution image of the print if anyone is interested. http://allgearedout.com/2011/02/07/the-land-of-make-believe/
