June Gilbank of Planet June, a crochet pattern designer and craft book author, created a spot-on adorable crocheted Amigurumi Discworld.
Visit June’s Flickr page to see more pictures of the Amigurumi Discworld, which is based on the popular books series Discworld by Terry Pratchett. She made this back in 2008 and contacted Pratchett’s agent hoping the author would see her unique Discworld creation. Pratchett’s response was, “˜Well, if you’re going to crochet Discworld then that’s the way to do it!’ Nice!
Check out Gilbank’s most recent book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Amigurumi, and visit Planet June for some free crotchet patterns and to see more of her creations.
