Watch Now: ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3’ Teaser Trailer
space
Merkader   |

Let the hype building begin! The first teaser trailer for game publisher Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3 has been released. The new game will be set in the United States, and the trailer specifically teases New York City. I for one can’t wait to shoot at things while running through New York. Sure there have been other games set in New York, but not to the caliber of the Call of Duty series.

The game is being touted as a straight sequel to Modern Warfare 2, so we should see a return of some familiar characters. No firm release date has yet been announced, but I expect to see the game in time for the holidays. I would also expect an announced street date at this year’s E3, which I’m sure MW3 will have a big showing.

Modern Warfare 3 will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PC. Hopefully online play will be back for the PlayStation3 by the time it comes out.
