Ever want to watch the same episode of a TV show over and over again, but as if it were new every single time? Yeah, now you may have your wish.
Joking aside, THR is reporting that CBS has picked up a pitch from Mark Gordon, producer of the Duncan Jones film Source Code, which would see the show be converted into a new running TV series. The show will follow “three former federal agents who are part of a top-secret program. Each week, they’ll use “Source Code” technology to jump into the consciousness of people involved in tragic events.”
So not exactly the same show each week, but again, no joke, this may end up being quite interesting. I was a rather big fan of the film, despite its rather apparent flaws, so I wouldn’t mind watching this series on a weekly basis. I’m not huge on TV series in general, but this would definitely be one I’d keep an eye on.
What do you think?

I think it sounds like a rehack of Quantum Leap

Oh Boy! Leaping in someone’s life to fix the past is such a novel idea. Why no one has ever made a tv series about back stepping in time is a conundrum to me.
In all seriousness though, this is not surprising. Source Code’s premise seems perfectly fitting for tv.
