Talk about having some pull.
Apparently Stephen Colbert is truly as cool as one would expect, as his show, The Colbert Report, will play host to iconic musical group Radiohead, for a special, one-hour-long show, on Monday, September 26. From 11:30pm to 12:30am, the band will play tracks from their latest album, King Of Limbs, including new and unreleased tracks.
Including one song that will only be available at the show’s website, the show should be some must-watch television for fans of Colbert, Radiohead, or music in general, as very few bands are as great live as Radiohead is. I’ve never seen them in person, but videos of their live performances are absolutely mind blowing, and here’s to hoping that is the same for this Colbert performance. He’s always gotten some of the best acts around (hell, even David Byrne played a big set for the host), so this is just another notch on his belt. It’s one hell of a notch, though.
