What started out as a weekly web comic two years ago has quickly become one of the most fun comic book titles in recent memory. Written by a 6-year-old boy, Axe Cop is about a cop who carries an axe and who is called in to save the world from various crazy bad guys. Axe Cop: Bad Guy Earth centers around the “Psychic” brothers who are sent out to take over the world by turning everyone into bad guys. Axe Cop and his crew of dinosaurs and other interesting characters not only travel through time, but also space to figure out the mystery behind the two brothers. This is a book that is so crazy and over the top and funny that you can’t help but laugh.

I can’t believe a 6-year-old boy came up with this idea. The story written by Malachai Nicolle is so goofy and funny but has so much action in it and it’s a story that also makes a lot of sense. One of my favorite concepts is the fact that our hero has a flying dinosaur who has mini-guns for arms. Another great part of the story is that there is a planet where everyone is smart and has unicorn horns on their heads.

I really love the artwork in this book, it really matches the randomness and fun of the story. Ethan Nicolle really shows his passion for art in every detail of his panels. He treats every character with respect while also showing that they are there for a reason. One of my favorite panels is when we see our heroes go back to the time of the dinosaurs to fight evil cavemen and aliens.

I love how fun this book is and how it’s just a great story. It’s so neat to see a kid of six come up with an idea that only we would have come up with when we were kids. I give this book a five out of five. It is worth the thirteen dollars.
