Bryan Singer is rumored to be in talks to direct a theatrical version of the classic television series, The Six Million Dollar Man, Latino Review is reporting.
Singer’s name, as of late, has been attached to a number of 1970’s TV shows making the jump to the big screen including Logan’s Run and Battlestar Galactica. This is the first time that an actor has also been attached to one of these rumored projects, as it’s being reported that both Singer and producer Harvey Weinstein have had talks with Leonardo DiCaprio about starring as astronaut Steve Austin.
Writers of Singer’s upcoming film Jack The Giant Killer are said to be on board to write the screenplay, which will be based on Martin Caidin’s book, Cyborg, which the series was based on. The movie will be adjusted for today’s economy and be called The Six Billion Dollar Man.

I hope this happens. Big fan of the show. Was thrilled when the DVDs were finally released. I hope when it is done, it will be done well.
