Dark Horse Comics has chosen Geeks of Doom to show off the cover art for a new one-shot of one of the most critically acclaimed all-ages comics of all time, Andi Watson‘s Skeleton Key.
Check out the full, larger version of the cover here below.
Collected in the all-new, all-color one-shot, being released on May 2, are the shorts from Dark Horse Presents #5-7, the publisher’s anthology comic book series.
I’ve not read any previous Skeleton Key comics, but I’m intrigued by this one-shot as I’ve become more and more open to all-ages comics, and it sounds incredibly interesting, but don’t take my word for it. Here’s how Dark Horse describes the comic:
Using the magical Skeleton Key, schoolgirl Tamsin and fox spirit Kitsune can turn any door into a portal to an endless multiverse. Lost somewhere in space and time and trying to get home, the two friends encounter a band using the undead in a music video, check into a haunted hotel, and become catalogued in the vast Museum of the Lost!
I’ll definitely be picking this one up. The Skeleton Key One-Shot will be available in stores and online on May 2, 2012.
