Ever wanted to see a real DeLorean flying through the air before it zips off through space and time to another decade, century, or millennia, just as it did at the end of Back to the Future and in Back to the Future II?
Well, that’s probably difficult to pull off with a full-sized DeLorean considering we don’t yet have the flying car sci-fi movies have promised us, but it’s not stopping folks from making a scale model of the car and taking to the skies.
As you’ll see in the video below, someone did just that and, along with the help of that famous Back to the Future music score, it’s almost just like the real thing. Sorta.
OK, so the detail of the car isn’t intricate, and it does more hovering than actual flying. In fact, this is probably what Back to the Future would have looked like had it been made in the ’40s or ’50s, and that’s equally amusing to see.
Still, where’s your flying DeLorean? I sure don’t have one.
