| Nike Releases Teaser Video For Self-Lacing Sneakers Inspired By ‘Back To The Future’
Back in 2011 Nike produced 1,500 limited edition replicas of the Nike MAG, the self-lacing sneakers Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II. And while they were an awesome replica, they didn’t actually self-lace and it was impossible for most people without plenty of extra cash lying around to get their hands on a pair. A few days after that announcement, shoe engineer Tinker Hatfield—creator of the Pump sneakers and designer of the MAG replicas—said they were still working on the self-lacing technology and would have it ready by 2015, the year they travel to in Back to the Future II. 2015 has come and gone with no self-lacing sneakers, but hope is not lost. Nike has released a teaser video for self-lacing sneakers called HyperAdapt 1.0, and you can check it out below.

| ‘Back To The Future’: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd Return As Marty & Doc On Jimmy Kimmel
Recently we saw an animated short that showed us what it might have looked like had Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to the real 2015 in the sequel to Back to the Future instead of the much different 2015 that was presented in the movie. The video was more of a depressing reminder of the times we live in than anything. Now we have an even better version of this scenario. In a very special appearance for Back to the Future Day yesterday, both Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd returned as Marty and Doc for a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! (with an added bonus cameo by a certain audition judge). And once again, the “future” wasn’t quite what they were expecting. Click on over to the other side to watch the video, along with the interview portion with Michael J. Fox.
