Born from the first wave of New York City punk rock in the mid 1970s, Blondie went from playing CBGB’s to touring all around the world in a scant few years. They became a big part of the New Wave sound of the early 1980s, with memorable hit songs as “Call Me,” “Heart of Glass,” “The Tide is High,” and “Rapture.” This 19-song collection nicely includes those and other well known hits and not so well known nuggets.
