Marc Webb wants everyone to be fully aware that The Amazing Spider-Man will not be the Sam Raimi Spider-Man we all know and remember. Previously trailers and posters flaunt a darker, grittier, and more grounded Spider-Man than the Spider-Man we are used to seeing. And now a pair of final posters has been released. And guess who takes center stage in this poster?
That’s right, Yahoo! Movies has released a pair of posters where Spider-Man graces us with his presence. Check them out here below.
In the first poster you can’t see to much of the newly designed costume, but it does convey the dark tones we can be expecting to see in The Amazing Spider-Man. You also have to love all the strands of webbing that surround Spidey. Oh, let’s not forget those slash marks.
The other poster gives us a look at Spider-Man’s powers in action. The signature wall-crawling ability looks like one of the photos you would see on the front page of the Daily Bugle. Both posters do an excellent job at selling the fact that this WON’T be a Spider-Man 4. One thing is for sure, this will be one heck of a movie.
Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man stars The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The Amazing Spider-Man opens in 3D on July 3, 2012.
