The $10 t-shirt deal of the day over at TeeFury today is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed shirt called “Shred or Die” by Ian Leino.

The sale began at Teefury today, Thursday, June 21, 2012, at midnight EST, and will continue for 24 hours from then, and once it’s over, it will not be sold on the site anymore.

The t-shirt is available in men and women’s sizes in black for $10 each.

I have a theory that they were really just skate park rivals – the Turtles were loose and artistic while the Shredder was all about precision and technical perfection. Once a big Hollywood producer got ahold of the story, it quickly morphed into this weird thing with talking rats, vengeance stories and armies of ninjas. Everyone involved got huge checks for the rights to their story, but were forbidden from ever telling the truth, lest it topple the empire of cartoons and action figures that had sprung up. It was supposed to be about the skating, man!
