Earlier this week, the international trailer for Rian Johnson‘s Looper appeared online, and although it gave us a more in depth story, it did have very spoilerish moments.
Now comes the domestic trailer for the film, and while it also expands on the story, the trailer gives away too much too soon.
Check it out below and judge for yourself to see if the new Looper trailer is too spoilery.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays as a hit man hired to kill targets sent from a future where time travel is outlawed. He is very good at what he does and he gets paid very well. Until one day, the target that he is hired to kill is his future self (played by Bruce Willis).
The trailer shows that you absolutely do not want to fail killing your target, no matter who it is, even if it is yourself. Not sure if I can go more in depth without spoiling the trailer, but just know what there are consequences when it comes to not killing your target. Unlike the last trailer, this trailer focuses a bit more on the action, which by the way looks amazing.
Despite how much this trailer spoils the movie, I still cannot wait to see it. The premise puts a new twist on the sci-fi genre, and the cast is amazing. Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, and Paul Dano also star in the film.
You can watch the trailer in HD on Yahoo! Movies. Looper opens in theaters on September 28th, 2012.
