Previous Taken 2 trailers have ended with Bryan Millis (Liam Neeson) in a sticky situation. He and his wife (Famke Janssen) are about to be taken by the family members of all the underground human traffickers he killed in the first film and the only person who can save them is their daughter (Maggie Grace).
Now a new trailer reveals more of the plot for the action-packed sequel. Check it out below.
It wouldn’t be a Taken film if it didn’t have its fill of violence and kidnapping. Neeson looks like he may have lost his ability to sense his surroundings if he was caught off guard like this, but if there’s one thing he’s hasn’t lost, its his ability to kick ass, and he does plenty of it in this trailer. Between all the neck snapping, gun shooting, and exploding cars, these two families will be feuding for quite a while. It’s something that is clearly addressed in this trailer.
Taken 2 also stars Rade Sherbedgia. The film opens in theaters on October 5
Here’s the synopsis:
Bryan Mills is the retired CIA agent with a “particular set of skills” who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from kidnappers. When the father of one of the villains Bryan killed swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape. Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one.
