As part of Amazon’s monthly $5 MP3 album deals for August 2012, OK Go‘s Of the Blue Colour of the Sky is on sale for only $5. If you would like a physical copy of Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, the CD is available for only $12.70.
OK Go is the band that got us all excited about music videos again with their highly inventive and excellently choreographed use of treadmills in the video for their song “Here it Goes Again,” for which they earned a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video in 2007. Of the Blue Colour of the Sky is their third album of funky dance-rock tunes with a couple of moody, slightly slower jams thrown in for balance. Standout tracks are “WTF?,” “Skycrapers,” and “White Knuckles.” Download this one and challenge yourself to sit still while listening.
Also available on MP3 for only $5 this month is OK Go’s live album 180/365. If you would like a physical copy of 180/365 (the CD is available for only $10.49).
