The first add-on pack for Dishonored, the supernatural assassin game from Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks, has been announced.
The add-on, which is called Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials, will offer a collection of ten challenge maps that will test your abilities in stealth, combat, and mobility. Some of the challenges include an arena battle to see how many waves of enemies you can handle, a run of drop assassinations, and a sprint against the clock.
The add-on will come with its own set of achievements and trophies to collect, as well as a leaderboard to keep track of where you stand among the best supernatural assassins in the world.
Dunwall City Trials will be released sometime in December, and will only run you 400 Microsoft Points, which amounts to $4.99.
Also announced is two more upcoming DLC releases for Dishonored, that will be available in 2013. Details on one of them are still being kept under wraps, but the first one will arrive in early spring of ’13 and will follow fellow supernatural assassin Doud, as he leads a group called “The Whalers.” It will be a story-driven add-on, and you’ll also be able to check out some of Doud’s unique abilities, weapons, and gadgets.
If you’ve not played the game and are still unsure whether to pick it up, you can check out our review right here.
