A new video for Guillermo del Toro‘s “giant freakin’ monsters versus giant freakin’ robots” movie, Pacific Rim, has been released online.

The choppy and unstable video, which is part of the film’s viral marketing campaign, shows news coverage of a monster attack on numerous locations, including the Golden Gate Bridge, leaving shocking amounts of destruction in its wake.

Pacific Rim hits theaters on July 12, 2013, and stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, and Ron Perlman.
