The cast for DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 3 is growing strong with the addition of three new talents.
Lending their voice to the trilogy-maker is Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Godzilla), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Hannibal), and Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids, Pain & Gain).
The actors join a cast that already includes returning stars Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, and others.
Also returning is director Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who directed Kung Fu Panda 2, writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, and producer Guillermo del Toro.
It’s not yet known what the movie will be about this time around, only that it “follows Po, the chosen one, as he continues on his journey mastering the art of Kung Fu … and noodle slurping.” Though, considering the ending of the last movie, one could assume that it will at least partially deal with Po’s long lost birth parents.
Kung Fu Panda 3 is currently set for release on December 23, 2015.
