AMC has released a special San Diego Comic-Con 2013 poster for the upcoming Season 4 of their hit series The Walking Dead. The poster was done by famed artist Alex Ross (Kingdom Come).
Check out the limited-edition poster in full here below (the promo banner for Season 4 is here at top – click for larger view), along with promo behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming season.
There’s going to be plenty of Walking Dead presence here at the Con, which will include a panel in the main hall and likely a booth on the convention floor, as usual. In previous years, fans were able to get their photo taken in front of a recreation of the zombie house; another year, con-goers could get their photo taken with one hand in handcuffs on the rooftop, just like Merle. The Doom Crew is on the ground now at the Con, and will be at preview night tonight, so we’ll bring you the scoop, along with photos.
More Comic-Con details:
– Autograph session on Fri., Jul. 19 11:15AM at Booth #4237
– Panel on Fri., Jul. 19 at 1:35PM-2:30PM in Hall H
– The Walking Dead Escape at Petco Park July 19 and 20, 5PM to 10PM.
Also for the Con, AMC is turning over their Instagram account to series star Norman Reedus (who plays the tough, but lovable Daryl Dixon), who will be posting photos all week showing what it’s like for him to be at the Con, at the panels, backstage, etc. Follow AMC’s Instagram account at instagram.com/amcthewalkingdead and also search for the hashtag #InstaDaryl on Facebook and Twitter.
The Walking Dead returns with Season 4 this October.
