A new fan film based on the hit Bethesda Softworks Fallout property has been released, and it is titled Fallout: Lanius.

The short is more specifically based on the last Fallout game to be released, Fallout: New Vegas, which was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. It tells the origins story of one of the game’s characters, Lanius, the second Legate of Caesar, the leader of the Caesar’s Legions.

Fallout: Lanius comes from writer, director, and producer Wade K. Savage, who took to Indiegogo to fund the project. Savage had quite the crew behind him, including talent that has worked for WETA on movies like Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy and King Kong.
