If you’re anything like me, you are constantly on the look out for casual clothing that isn’t a mass-produced item that would be found in closets all across the country. I spend many mornings checking out different t-shirt sites for unique items that appeal to my nerdy passions. I’m also notorious for correcting grammar (friends, strangers, whomever is near…you get the picture). So when I was shown a site that mixes the two, you can imagine how entertained I was! Truthfully, I started giggling when reading a few.
Having said all of that, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Hey, That’s Super, a very original, and quite funny, shop featuring tees and more!
Run by Travis Parker of Montgomery, AL, this Etsy shop is only about six months old. With screen tees that reference everything from Thor to Batman to Doctor Who, Hey, That’s Super has something for almost every nerd you know! They are currently even taking reservations for their next shirt featuring a sheep with claws, entitled “Woolverine.” The “It’s Hammer Time” shirt is also pretty cool (I’ll be ordering that one for myself). But the Loki shirt is probably the best of the bunch, I know so many people who would love that one. The tees are priced $16-18 and the artwork he has for sale is only $3-12. I urge you to check out the Etsy shop here.
Here’s what Travis has to say in the About section of his shop:
“Do you love comic culture and have an appreciation for eye-rolling humor? Hey, that’s super!
We take our shirts very seriously (well, as seriously as the subject matter allows) and we want you to feel as if you are wearing the most comfortable pun in the universe. That’s why we choose shirts made from the softest cotton and print with water-based inks.
So go ahead and take a look around, see if there’s anything that makes your eyes roll and that you just have to have. And welcome to our Super Team!”
Below are some pictures of his products to give you an idea of what he has to offer. But please visit Hey, That’s Super on Etsy for more information and a far better selection. And don’t forget to check out the shop’s Facebook page, too. The link is right here.
