My favorite jewelry company, RockLove Jewelry, has a devilishly delicious new line, that’s full of beautiful darkness. The Disney x Villainess Collection is dripping with evil… okay, it’s dripping with color and wonder, but either way, we all must own one or more of these gorgeous baubles from Ursula, the Queen of Hearts, and the Evil Queen.

You know how it is with greeting cards: You pick a generic one with a poem or sonnet that no one ever reads and right after the holiday they’re dumped in the paper recycling bin. Well, not anymore. Ghost Girl Greetings is reimagining greeting cards with a pop culture twist, drawing and writing cards that are perfect for any occasion for all the horror hounds and geeks in your life.

Brooklyn Geekfest: Gaming & Cosplay in Brooklyn, NY

It’s a strange occurrence to walk through a trendy Brooklyn neighborhood and see people dressed in costume walking in and out of a hotel… in Spring! Last Saturday, the Best Western Gregory Hotel in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, hosted the first annual Brooklyn Geekfest, brought to you by Gotham City Games. The miniature comic-con style festival featured two rooms, one dedicated entirely to gaming, featuring multiple consoles, and ongoing tournaments throughout the day. The other was filled with vendors selling toys, homemade video art, and of course video game accoutrement. As is now tradition with any geek-themed convention, there was a cosplay contest for both adults and children.
Check out our interview with host and the owner of Gotham City Games, Ralph Pugliese, and our image gallery below.

Must Watch: Stop-Motion Video ‘Imagination’ Hits The Nostalgia Button Hard

A new short film is making its way around the ‘net titled Imagination that’s sure to hit many of you right in the ol’ nostalgia button as it is overflowing with geeky goodness.
Playing more like a music video, Imagination is a very cool mixture of filming techniques including stop-motion and time-lapse set to a cover of the song “Pure Imagination” sung by the great Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
