We’ve seen some exciting gameplay demos for Dying Light (be sure to check out both the 9-minute and 12-minute previews), the upcoming first-person zombie apocalypse freerunning game from developer Techland and publisher WB Games.
A new trailer for Dying Light has been released titled “Humanity,” which offers both cinematic and gameplay glimpses of the game while discussing who people were—and who the zombies were as well—before a viral apocalypse changed everything.
You can check out the new trailer below.
Have you ever wondered who zombies were before?
Dying Light’s “Humanity” trailer presents a serious look at what a zombie epidemic would mean for humankind. It makes you wonder what consequences the world where neighbors kill neighbors and relatives kill relatives would have on human mind. How long could you justify what you do? How strong is the instinct of self-preservation? Is there still a place for kindness in such a cruel world?
Dying Light is a first-person action survival horror game set in a dangerous open world. During the day, players traverse an expansive city overrun by the outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to fight the growing infected population. At night, the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Players must use everything in their power to survive till dawn.
Dying Light will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2014.
