A new poster has been released for Godzilla, the upcoming remake from Monsters director Gareth Edwards.
The poster shows the city of San Francisco, with a certain visitor towering above its skyscrapers. We’ve had an idea of how big the new Godzilla is with brief peeks in the trailer and image above, but if this poster is accurate, well…that’s a big f’n lizard.

Looking at this, to be fair, I have to say ol’ Godzilla is actually doing a pretty darn good job of stepping over and around the buildings. At that size you would expect every building in that image to be dust.

so…the setting for this one is San Francisco…as opposed to New York…or Japan…i’m guessing most-if not all-of Godzilla is CG

Pretty astute on the CGI part; I don’t think that a man in a rubber suit would work this time (although the actor playing him could be a MOCAP actor…)
