A new trailer for the next installment in the Transformers franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction, has been released.
Some of the trailer is stuff we’ve seen in previous previews—particularly early on—but there is plenty of new footage to check out as well, including more dinobot action and a well-bearded Transformer.
You can check out the trailer below.
Now I’m not super familiar with the Transformers myself, so this fella is likely familiar to you fans, but it appears to me that Gimli from Lord of the Rings has converted to a mechanized alien existence, and has also apparently taken up cigar smoking.
SYNOPSIS:
TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is the fourth film in director Michael Bay’s global blockbuster franchise. The film begins after an epic battle that left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history… while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans, Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. In an incredible adventure, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.
Transformers: Age of Extinction is directed by Michael Bay, and stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Bingbing Li, Titus Welliver, and TJ Miller.
