Last Thursday, San Diego Comic-Con kicked off in typically hyped-up fashion with a panel presented by Paramount Pictures that among other things offered attendees a glimpse at the latest trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s upcoming outerspace adventure Interstellar. It was greeted with extraordinary enthusiasm and now that trailer is online in full HD glory.
You can watch the trailer here below.
This is our most extensive look at Interstellar to date and offers emotion, fantastic earthly and alien vistas, and some otherworldly visual effects that are bound to be a wonder to behold in IMAX. The trailer is framed by narration from Matthew McConaughey and a reading of Dylan Thomas’ landmark poem “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” by co-star Michael Caine that underscores the imagery and narrative beats perfectly. At Comic-Con, McConaughey said that this was Nolan’s most ambitious film to date, and based on the trailers we’ve seen so far, he doesn’t appear to be far off the mark where Interstellar is concerned.
Co-starring Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Wes Bentley, Ellen Burstyn, Casey Affleck, David Oyelowo, and Topher Grace, Interstellar blasts off into theaters on November 6, 2014.
