Fox has locked in the February 12, 2016 date for Deadpool, and I can think of no better romantic evening than a V-Day excursion to your local theater for this one. No word yet on whether or not Ryan Reynolds will still be playing the character, or if fans will get the R-rated version of this movie they so desperately want and deserve.
As for Fantastic Four, which is directed by Josh Trank and stars Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, and Miles Teller, that movie’s release date has been shifted from June 19, 2015, to August 7, 2015, which was the former release date of Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender.
So when will Assassin’s Creed be released now, you ask? Well, that’s not known. Instead of moving it to another date, Fox has simply removed it from the calendar for whatever reason. Likely there’s some speedbumps to overcome and they want a better idea of where things stand before they commit to another date.
