‘The Walking Dead’: Inside Episode 5.8 ‘Coda’ Mid-Season Finale

SPOILERS for The Walking Dead Episode 5.8 “Coda.”
Last night saw the mid-season finale for Season 5 of AMC’s The Walking Dead – Episode 5.8 “Coda.” – and if you’ve seen this episode, then you know it was a heavy one.
AMC has released the “most talked about scene,” which comes at the end of the episode during the hostage exchange. The network has also released two behind-the-scenes videos — one is a “Making of” featurette that centers on the end scene at the hospital; the other is a 5-minute “Inside Look” at the episode which deals with Rick’s group’s mission to save Beth and Carol. There’s also a character featurette, along with the post-credits scene that sees return of Morgan.

A real missed opportunity here was to refer to Dawn somewhere, somehow, as Dawn of the Dead.
