Are you sick of Grand Theft Auto V videos yet? I’m sure not!
GTA is the absolute poster child for all things evil in video games, and soccer moms everywhere just love to use it as an example of games that are turning our precious little children into soulless serial killers. Which is why it’s always fun to see videos from the game that are minimally violent, like this nature documentary!
Just as the headline says, this video is a 20-minute scenic drive in Grand Theft Auto V. Seriously. Nothing more, just a drive. So why share this? A couple of reasons, actually. First, because sometimes you just need to stop what you’re doing, turn off the radio, and drive. I find myself doing this often in GTA games, because they’re so much fun to explore and enjoy. Second, because videos like these show how insanely great the world created by Rockstar Games is (side note: this video covers a very small part of the very large map), and it’s worth praising repeatedly. You can watch the video below.
Fair warning: while this video is only driving, you can still tell it’s a GTA game from time to time. An angry fellow driver shouting naughty words; a woman’s purse being stolen; a police chase unfolding. It’s gonna happen, no matter how hard you try to avoid it.
The video is made by YouTube user The XXI, who has a bunch of great GTA V videos on their channel you should most definitely check out if you appreciate the smaller things (and sometimes the crazier things).
