It’s now been nearly two years since Rockstar Games officially announced Red Dead Redemption 2. At the time, the game was planned for a fall 2017 release. But as is often the case with games, more time was needed to deliver the final product fans expect and the game was delayed first to the spring and then eventually to the fall of 2018.

Since the game was first confirmed, we’ve been given three trailers to enjoy. And while these trailers have helped to pass the time, one thing they didn’t show was any actual gameplay footage. No matter how excited we are about a game—and it’s hard to get much more excited than many are for this one—the real excitement comes when we get our first peek at how it will actually look when we get to play. Today, that time has arrived. Rockstar has released the first official gameplay video for Red Dead Redemption 2, and you can check it out below.
