Stranded Deep Game

Everyone loves a good survival story—a story of someone going through the worst of the worst of experiences, becoming stranded, and having to figure out a way to survive as long as possible with whatever they have in hopes of eventually being found and rescued. One of the first things that jumps to mind when thinking of stories like this is the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away.

As video games continue to evolve, and as virtual reality finally starts becoming what we’ve always hoped it would be, games now can offer unique experiences for players, such as throwing them into one of these horrific survival situations…with far less horror than they would face in real life. One such game, titled Stranded Deep, looks very similar to a Cast Away situation, where players stranded on a deserted island will search/hunt for food, build a shelter, and try not to die.

A teaser trailer for the game, which comes from Beam Team Games, has been released, and can be seen below along with plenty of info on the game.

Take the role of a plane crash survivor stranded somewhere in the Pacific Ocean!

Experience terrifying encounters both above and below a beautiful endless environment. Come face to face with some of the most life threatening scenarios that will result in a different experience each time you play!

Scavenge. Discover. Survive.
