Transformers: Age of Extinction cast and crew

Tomorrow will see the nominations revealed for the Academy Awards, which celebrate the best in film, and as is custom, the nominees for the Golden Raspberry Awards — the very worst in film — were announced today.

Tying for the lead with 6 Razzie nods each are Transformers: Age of Extinction, the third Michael Bay sequel in the blockbuster franchise, and Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, the “put Christ back in Christmas” comedy.

Big name stars like Mark Wahlberg, Nicholas Cage, Adam Sandler, Cameron Diaz, and Charlize Theron are all up for Worst acting awards this year, while Any Two Robots from Age Of Extinction is up for Worst Screen Combo.

See here below for the complete list of nominees for the 2015 Golden Raspberry Awards, which will be given out on February 21, 2015 (the day before the Academy Awards ceremony).

Of note this year is the “Redeemer Award,” given out to a past nominee who’s redeemed themselves with quality acting this year.

While most celebrities understandable do not attend the annual ceremony, there have been times where they did, such as when Academy Award-winning Halle Berry famously picked up her Worst Actress Razzie for her role in 2004’s Catwoman. Fellow Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock picked up Razzie for 2009’s All About Steve.

  2. Seth MacFarlane, A Million Ways to Die in the West — should have topped the list in every category.
