Leonard Nimoy, the legendary Star Trek actor known for bringing the Vulcan Mr. Spock to the big and small screens, was hospitalized last Thursday with severe chest pains, TMZ reports. TMZ discovered on Monday that Nimoy was rushed to UCLA Medical Center after a 911 call on Thursday, February 19, 2015, and that paramedics took him to the hospital because they didn’t want to take any chances with the ailing actor, who has been in and out of hospitals several times in the last few months. The 83-year-old actor revealed last year that he was suffering from COPD, a progressive lung disease that affects one’s ability to breathe, and beseeched the public to quit smoking, the habit in which he said caused his illness.

Better Call Saul
Episode 1.4 “Hero”
Directed by Colin Bucksey
Written by Gennifer Hutchison
Starring Bob Odenkirk, Michael McKean, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando, Patrick Fabian
AMC
Air Date: Monday, February 23, 2015, 10pm Every day is a struggle for Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk). His adversities aren’t narrowed down to just one facet of his life, but instead encompass ALL aspects of the lawyer’s being. Along with struggling to build his clientele, pay his bills, and make a name for himself, there’s his constant inner conflict as he continues to teeter between acting in good conscience and relying on his old swindling ways. Back in Better Call Saul Episode 2, we heard Jimmy promise his older brother, Chuck (Michael McKean), that he wasn’t slipping back into his old ways, which, as we see from flashbacks, was being a hustler and a schemer. He’s trying to make his way in the world as a public defender for the Albuquerque, NM, courts, but it pays very little and is getting him nowhere. In Episode 1.4 “Hero,” Jimmy once again walks that fine line between good and bad, but this time around, his moral ambiguity becomes his defining characteristic.

For over 40 years, Sesame Street has been a go-to source for quality children’s fun combining education and crazy nipper characters. But lately, the word on the street has been Sesame’s hilarious parodies of adult-themed shows. The best kids shows are the ones that keep the parents involved. So from the makers of True Mud, Upside Downton Abbey, and Big Birdman comes their latest, House of Bricks, which you can watch here below. Capitalizing on the popularity of Netflix hit show House of Cards (returning for a third season next week), here the story is about Frank Underwolf, yep, the big bad wolf with Kevin Spacey’s patented southern drawl, as he looks to take down three political pigs in Washington, DC.

| Massive Metal Monday: Scorpions “Still Loving You” |

In the 1980s, a band couldn’t truly say that they had “made it” until they had a massive, over-the-top, epic, tear-jerking power ballad. It was a trend that dates back to KISS having the biggest hit of their career with the accidental chart-topper “Beth” in 1977. Be it Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home” or Cinderella’s “Don’t Know What You’ve Got (Till It’s Gone), the decade was one giant game of balladry one-upmanship. By the time hair metal burned itself out at the dawn of the 90s, there were bands that seemed to deal in nothing but ballads (Firehouse, Warrant, Trixter, et al…). There is, however, one song that stands out to me as the apex of this movement. Veteran German metal band Scorpions were equally adept at bone-crushing rock and roll and ballads that could make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. This week’s Massive Metal Monday song is one of the latter moments. Here, with the most bitchin’ ballad of the day, is Scorpions with “Still Loving You” from their massively successful 1984 album Love At First Sting.
