Only Oracle can lead Hero through the labyrinthine bridge to Zeus, so Hero finds her”¦in bed with Minos, keeping warm. She hasn’t given her virginity to Minos, but Hero is furious (though, as Oracle rightly asks, what does he care anyway?), and won’t believe otherwise because she’s too scared by his threats to kill Minos to get a good “signal” from her prophecy gift. When she can’t summon Gaia, Hero runs Minos through with the sword, and Medea reveals that Hero’s passed the final test: sacrificing his soul. Nice work, jackass.
