The Walking Dead has taken audiences by storm. Since debuting in 2010, the AMC series based the graphic novels by Robert Kirkman found a core viewership amongst horror fans seeking more realistic and scary shows on TV. But along with it’s great character like Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) comes questions. Ever wonder how EVERYONE in a Zombie Apocalypse is a natural sharpshooter, zipping headshots like anyone can grab a gun and be Army-material? Real Fake History does. Today Machinima‘s weekly mockumentary series examines a crucial battle from AMC’s wildly successful show, The Walking Dead, with the assault on the prison by the Governor and his Woodbury army.

The narrator (Phil Morris) brings up a great point about how easily it seems the zombi”¦ oh sorry, I’m not allowed to use that word…ahem… walkers are dispatched of by Rick and his comrades. Meanwhile when it’s human vs. human, no one seems capable of hitting the broad side of a barn. We see an view from the sky of the Governor’s (David Morrissey) plan to use a van of walkers to distract Rick and company. This plan actually reunited a former married couple (now zombified). It was such a sweet occurrence that even badass Michonne (Danai Gurira) couldn’t bring herself to kill them”¦ only here Michonne is played by a guy. “I’m a hopeless romantic at heart,” she/he says. Then things get a bit gross as the walkers begin “keeping the passion” going.
