Emmys 2015-header

Another year of television comes to its unofficial close with The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, just before the Fall 2015 season really kicks off, and apparently I’ve been missing out on some Olive Kitteridge. But don’t worry, I’m fully on the Game of Thrones bandwagon. Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) kicked off the show with a wonderfully silly musical number.

Check out the list of nominees, complete with winners here below, along with a few touching videos.

Mad Men star Jon Hamm finally took home an Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series after many winless nominations. Game of Thrones won the record for the most Emmys won in one year, including the big one – Best Drama Series. But Viola Davis made real history as the first African-American woman to win Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series.
