Marvel NYCC 2015 Jeff Loeb Chloe Bennet Clark Gregg

Marvel’s popularity is at its height, as shown at New York Comic-Con 2015. On Friday, October 9th, Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb held a Marvel’s Agents of Primetime Panel to give fans updates for on both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter. With fans already pumped about the event and the shows, they became even more excited when Clark Gregg appeared on stage. At that point, the crowd’s chants of “Carter! Carter!” changed to “Coulson! Coulson!”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has hit the milestone of 50 episodes, and Loeb expressed his gratitude to the fans for this achievement.

The audience at the panel was treated to an advanced viewing of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3, Episode 3, “A Wanted (Inhu)man,” which airs on ABC this Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

Loeb premiered some footage from Season 2 of Agent Carter, which is, of course, top secret (but we’ll spill a little — Peggy and Jarvis are in Howard Stark’s car, which is filled with gadgets).

We also found out that Season 2 of Agent Carter is currently filming in Los Angeles, which is why stars Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy were not in attendance, though they did provide a record message. In it, the duo stated that Dominick Cooper’s Howard Stark wouldn’t be back for the new season – meanwhile, Cooper could be seen behind them. The three aforementioned stars, along with Bridgit Regan, Enver Gjokaj, and Chad Michael Murray are set to return for the next season. Newcomers to the show are Wynn Everett (who will play Whitney Frost), Reggie Austin (who will play Dr. Jason Wilkes), Currie Graham (who will play Chad Chatwin), and Lotte Verbeek (who will play Ann Jarvis).

During the question and answer time, Loeb addressed some exciting upcoming news for next season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Loeb explained that the inhumans will be explored further in depth, and that a character we possibly know could be inhuman. When asked by a fan if the audience could see more, Loeb agreed, according to CBR.
