Telltale Games has, as promised, released a preview for the upcoming spinoff miniseries to their hit point-and-click take on The Walking Dead, which will follow the character Michonne and consist of three episodes.

The preview shares six minutes of gameplay action, and you can read much more about the game and watch the preview below.

The Story:

The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries stars the iconic, blade-wielding character made famous by Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic books. The story explores the period in the comic book timeline where Michonne leaves Rick, their group, and her katana behind, in order to deal with emotional demons from her past. Players will discover what took Michonne away from her trusted allies, and what brought her back to them.

The premiere episode, “˜In too Deep’, finds Michonne aboard “˜The Companion’, a sailing ship captained be Pete and his crew, as they look for survivors and supplies along the coast of the Chesapeake Bay. When a desperate radio signal calling for help draws them to the scene of a horrific massacre, Michonne and the crew of the Companion are lead to the floating survivors’ colony of Monroe, which just may be harboring those responsible for the carnage.

Surrounded by the dead and mistrustful of the living, you – as Michonne – will choose how the story flows through the choices you make, in this three-part episodic miniseries.

The first episode of the miniseries is titled “In Too Deep,” and will be released on February.

The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries will premiere its first of three episodes, ‘In Too Deep,’ this February 23rd on PC/Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, followed by a release on compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon App Store starting February 25th. The second episode in the miniseries, ‘Give No Shelter,’ will follow in the month of March, and conclude with the third episode, ‘What We Deserve,’ in April. All three episodes in the miniseries will be available for purchase at the cost of $14.99 USD or equivalent when the first episode debuts, including access to the second and third episodes as they become available.
