Pick a movie trailer, any movie trailer, and chances are you can find a video of someone reacting to it online. At least for the bigger movies. There’s no denying it: people love reacting to stuff and people love watching those people reacting to stuff.
With over 25.6 million views, you can imagine how many reaction videos there are for the long-awaited first trailer for the Ghostbusters reboot. Taking a quick peek at the trailer’s votes on YouTube, you can also deduce that the response has not been very good. To the tune of just over 450,000 negative votes to under 200,000 positive votes. We haven’t seen a reaction that bad since the Jem and the Holograms trailer, and this is on a much bigger scale.
But whether you loved or hated what you saw, it’s clear that folks were excited to see what the movie looked like. This includes none other than the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the original Ghostbusters, who has his very own reaction video for the trailer. You can see how it went for ol’ Stay Puft below.
Now, it goes without saying that this is a video made for comedic purposes. It’s an animated human-shaped marshmallow thingy reacting to a trailer, after all. But fair warning: the video does get a little dark at the end, so you know, just don’t watch it if little Ghostbusters fans are running around nearby or you’re extra sensitive to the emotions of ooey gooey sweet treats. Other than that…it’s just an animated marshmallow man watching a freakin’ video. Enjoy!

**This is not necessarily a reflection of my opinion of the trailer but rather a satirical skit about the negative reaction it has received.**
I know I haven’t made a video in a very long time and I’m sorry about that. Been super busy since my last video with my day job(s). I plan on uploading more often if you guys are still interested in watching my silly videos. let me know!
