Fallout 4 "Wasteland Workshop"

Our adventures in the world of Fallout 4 continue today with the release of “Wasteland Workshop,” the second DLC add-on for the game.

But “adventures” might not be the best word to use here, because instead of heading off on a new journey in the latest addition to the game, “Wasteland Workshop” is all about home. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be excitement and danger if you want it. Maybe you’ve always wanted your very own pet Deathclaw (there’s no way that will ever come back to bite you…in more ways than one). Well now it can be so!

You can read more about the new Fallout 4 DLC and check out a trailer below.

The first DLC, titled “Automatron,” was released last month, and offered a short but entertaining new quest to go on and also the ability to build your own custom robots.

“Wasteland Workshop” is more about giving even more options in building and customizing your settlements than were in the original game, which were a lot as it is. Because of this it’s a cheap add-on, only costing you $4.99 unless you have the season pass, which gets you all of the post-launch Fallout 4 DLC that has and will be released.

This includes the third and final of the previously announced DLC releases, “Far Harbor,” which is said to be a monster, much bigger than any previous add-on Bethesda has created for their games, and costs $24.99 by itself.

After these three have come and gone, more DLC will still be released in the future, but what those will be has not yet been announced. More info on that will likely come out of Bethesda’s presentation at E3 2016.

Trailer

Watch the official trailer for Wasteland Workshop, the second game add-on for Fallout 4. Wasteland Workshop will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam on Tuesday, April 12.

With the Wasteland Workshop, design and set cages to capture live creatures – from raiders to Deathclaws! Tame them or have them face off in battle, even against your fellow settlers. The Wasteland Workshop also includes a suite of new design options for your settlements like nixie tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more!
