Last night Mr. Robot debuted the fourth episode of its second season on USA Network. Right after the show ended, Jimmy Kimmel Live aired on ABC. Kimmel discussed his love of the show, especially for a new character who premiered on the episode… one who surely will win the Emmy… one played by Jimmy Kimmel.
Check out the compelling scene in the video below.
“This is our biggest Evil Corp hack yet,” says Elliot (Rami Malek) in his steady monotone voice. “Thankfully we have a new member of fsociety, Web Scipher.” Seated with a zipped up hooded sweatshirt, Scipher reveals himself to of course be… Jimmy Kimmel. Problem is, Web Scipher may be the hacker fsociety really needs. First thing he does, “googling “˜how to run through decryption.'” He offers to call his nephew, but he doesn’t know how to update his phone. After doing a horrible job at the one thing Elliot asks, Scipher asks a pressing question, “how do you sync your contacts to the cloud?” Elliot begins narrating, which Kimmel joins, “who are you talking to?” Elliot suggests he go hang out with his nephew, while putting on his traditional hoodie and skulking off. I smell an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in Kimmel’s future.
Jimmy Kimmel Live is on weeknights at 11:35pm ET on ABC. Mr. Robot is on USA Network at 10:00pm ET on Wednesdays.
