As part of Sony’s event to unveil the new PS4 Pro, some games were also presented. This was mainly just to show off the 4K resolution of the PS4 Pro, but it was very much worth it for some.
One of the games presented was Mass Effect: Andromeda. But instead of the brief trailers and gameplay teases we’ve seen in the past, the first significant gameplay footage was shared. Not a whole lot happens in the three-minute video, but it is great to see the game in action, as well as one of the places you’ll visit and some of the characters you’ll be spending time with.
You can watch the first Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay video below.
There’s even more to be excited about if you’re a fan of the series, as well. In the video below it’s also revealed that a new trailer is coming in just a couple of months, and it will “officially open the doors to the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe.”
Andromeda is currently planned for a release sometime in early 2017. You can pre-order it for Xbox One, PS4, and PC now.
