When we last saw the Beauman family, Katie and Will (Sarah Wayne Callies, Josh Holloway) were on different sides of the law, but Will’s heart was not really in his cause. He just wanted his son back, and his family together. They both got caught up in this bloody, violent war, but what’s great about Colony (and probably the reason for its renewal) is these complex relationships, not only between wife and husband, and father and son, but the partnerships, which are deep too.

In the clip, we see a happy family homey setting. The kids (including Charlie) eating breakfast, cute dog, loving spouses confiding problems to each other about work. Something is wrong with Will’s partner. As the partners drive off we see a few unidentified objects flying in formation across the sky. How did Katie go from an empty house to a full one? How did she go from choosing the cause over family (really pissed about that) to having her family back? Is this a flashback? A flashforward? What is going on?

Synopsis:

USA Network’s COLONY returns for Season 2 when mysterious intruders are still in control of a near-future Los Angeles.
