Burials hails from Portland, Oregon, and has evolved over the course of the last eight years from a fairly straight metallic hardcore band into its current amalgam of black metal, death metal, thrash, hardcore, and progressive rock.

Los Angeles veterans Exhausted Prayer have been bludgeoning listeners with their fierce, progressive, blackened, death metal for nearly 20 years. If you like your blast beats accompanied by some of the darkest apocalyptic lyrics around, then these guys are for you.

The two bands have joined forces for this split album, which will be released January 13, 2017 via Apes Who Looked Up/Rose Quarter Records. This is high quality extreme metal, not to be missed.
