The Women’s March on Washington in underway in D.C. today with plenty of celebrities out in full force for the today’s historic event, including Supergirl star Melissa Benoist, who had a special message for our new President.
Benoist posted a photo to her Instagram account today of herself at the March holding a placard with a message for President Donald Trump.
Check out the image here below.
Wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt that says “FEMINIST,” the actress is shown holding a sign that reads: “HEY DONALD, DON’T TRY TO GRAB MY PUSSY, IT’S MADE OF STEEL.”
The message is a response to the now-famous words by Trump caught on audio in 2005 from Access Hollywood, where he bragged about grabbing women “by the pussy” without their permission.
The Supergirl star is not the only famous face in the crowd at the D.C. event and its sister marches taking place in other cities in the U.S., as well as globally. We’ve seen Cher, Ashley Judd, Madonna, Katy Perry, Lena Dunham, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Emma Watson, Drew Barrymore, Chelsea Handler, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Alicia Keys, Nick Offerman, Ariana Grande, Mary McCormack, Debra Messing, Gillian Anderson, Helen Mirren, Ian McKellan, America Ferrera, Kristen Stewart, Jessica Chastain, Michael Moore, and many more!
Typically, anything Supergirl-related would be covered here by our own Olympus Athens, but she’s a little busy today… MARCHING ON WASHINGTON! She and GoD’s Dr. Zaius are making their voices heard, and proudly representing Geeks Of Doom. Several other staffers are at sister Marches today. We stand with them all.

Glad to hear that Olympus, Dr. Zaius, and other GoD members were at the marches yesterday. Way to go!
