Last week on The CW’s crossover “Crisis on Earth-X,” members of Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow converged on Central City to celebrate the wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West (Grant Gustin, Candice Patton). Alas, that wedding did not happen because Nazis from Earth-35 aka Earth-X, the terrible world where Hitler won WWII, invaded the church and a fierce battle ensued. Our heroes had to fight their way out through Metallo, Red Tornado, OverGirl (Melissa Benoist), Evil Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), and Eobard Thawne wearing a Wells (Tom Cavanagh) face. They had one hero on their side that was lost on their Earth – Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller).
Spoilers below.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow 3.8 “Crisis on Earth-X, Part 4” review: Stein (Victor Garber) is critical, but as Firestorm, they can travel. They all go through the gate. To the rescue!
Evil Ollie is the Fuhrer! I thought for sure it was Thawne.
Speaking of Thawne, he resumes his operation to remove Supergirl’s heart. “Metal through bone. That’s my favorite.” But he can’t do it. Tiny Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) stopped the scalpel and then saved everyone. More fighting and when the rest of the legends show up,
Stein asks Jax (Franz Drameh) to let him die “so that you may live.” Of course he doesn’t want to. Jax is destroyed, but he helps him. And he is gone. Jax delivers the news to Stein’s family, his family.
The final battle pits wave rider against wave rider, Oliver against Oliver, Kara against Kara, and The Flash against Thawne. Barry lets Thawne go. What? He definitely will regret that.
Overgirl is dying and about to go nuclear. “You meed to fly her up, up, and away,” says Harry.
Snart decides to stay on Earth-1. This version of Snart loves rules and hugs. Yay! I love all versions of Leonard Snart.
They have the funeral for Stein and it is as sad and teary as you can imagine (or watch).
Barry and Iris decide to wed simply, so Barry grabs Diggle (who is an officiant), who marries them.
And then Felicity proposes to Oliver and they get married too.
One question: How did Diggle know Iris’s middle name?
Another crossover is in the books, and I definitely like this one as a whole better than last year’s.

This was great. And Diggle knows everything about everyone so, no surprise there. And Ollie kept his promise to Evil Ollie. I know the actor was leaving the show, but I am still sad.
