An unofficial trailer has been released for the horror movie Feral, which follows a group of friends on a hiking trip when a virus that turns people into vicious creatures begins infecting them.

Geeks of Doom’s own Adam Frazier co-wrote the screenplay with Mark H. Young (Tooth and Nail, Wicked Blood), with Young directing the movie.

SYNOPSIS:

A wild animal attacks six grad students on a weekend hike in the woods. One by one, they become infected with an unknown virus that turns them into rabid, bloodthirsty creatures. The vacation becomes a nightmare as they fight to survive the Feral animals in the woods”¦ and each other.

Starring in Feral is Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween, The Runaways), Olivia Luccardi (It Follows, Orange Is the New Black), Lew Temple (The Devil’s Rejects, The Walking Dead), Landry Allbright (Con Air, How the Grinch Stole Christmas), Renee Olstead (Unfriended, Still Standing), Brock Kelly (Pitch Perfect, Days of Our Lives), and George Finn (Time Lapse, Just Before I Go).
