An app and website called Movies Anywhere has officially launched, which allows users to bring together their digital movie collections. So far, five Hollywood giants (Walt Disney Studios, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Entertainment) and four digital retailers (Amazon Video, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu) are taking part. And the best part? It’s free to use.
Those who are among the dwindling number of people who still prefer physical media, myself included, won’t have much use for such a service (but even we can use those digital copy codes that come with physical copies to build a little back-up collection). But for the rest of you, continue below for full details including how you can score five free digital movies.
