Add another project to the insanely busy schedule of Jordan Peele. Amazon Studios has given a 10-episode straight-to-series order to a new series titled The Hunt, which will be executive produced by Peele.

The series, which is created by David Weil, tells the story of a group of Nazi hunters. It’s based on an original idea, and draws inspiration from some real-life events.

Continue below for more info on the series.

Here’s an official description of The Hunt from Deadline, who broke the news:

The Hunt follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.

Of the announcement Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said:

“Our biggest priority is attracting exceptional writing and producing talent to bring addictive, groundbreaking projects to Prime Video. The Hunt is edge-of-your seat entertainment that is not only culturally relevant but deliciously original. David Weil, Jordan Peele, and the entire Monkeypaw and Sonar Entertainment teams represent the dream team! We can’t wait to get started!”

Peele also released a statement, saying:

“When David Weil first shared The Hunt with me, I immediately knew that we had to be involved. It’s cathartic. It’s noir. It’s frighteningly relevant. It’s exactly what I want to see on television. I am thrilled to be working with Amazon in bringing this incredible vision to the world.”

Also executive producing The Hunt is Tom Lesinski, Jenna Santoianni, and Win Rosenfeld.

This is the latest in an ever-growing lineup of projects Peele and his Monkeypaw Productions are working on. Other titles he’s involved with include The Last O.G., the HBO horror anthology series Lovecraft Country (one of multiple anthologies horror fans currently have to be excited about), and a new take on The Twilight Zone.

But that’s just on the television side of things. He’s got plenty going on the big screen as well, such as BlacKkKlansman directed by Spike Lee, the stop-motion animated feature Wendell and Wild, and of course Us, his next directorial project after his Oscar-winning debut Get Out.

It’s exhausting just writing about it. I’m goin’ on break!
